Operation Java Malayalam Movie Review: A grounded and realistic crime thriller

Operation Java is a Malayalam Crime Drama Thriller directed by Tharun Moorthy and Co-directed by Sudhi Maddison. Operation java is writen by Tharun Moorthy. The movie stars Irshad, Lukman Lukku, Balu Varghese, Prasanth, Binu Pappu and more in the lead roles.

Operation Java is a crime thriller that tells multiple real cyber crime stories that happened and how the Kerala Police and Cyber Cell solved it. 

My Review: Operation Java revolves around two temp cyber cell officers and how they helped the force  to solve some major crimes. The movie says the story of two unemployed b.tech graduates that wants to help cyber cell to solve their cases. The life of these two characters are portrayed really well. 

Operation Java is a really gripping thriller experience. The cases that are discussed in the movie are very thought provoking, thrilling and emotional at times. The first half of the movie is really good with some well balanced thrilling moments along with some emotional and humous moments.

The second half of the movie deals with some heavy and disturbing crimes. The second half of the movie do suffer a little bit of lag when a new case is introduced, but picks up it's pace back really fast. 

The performance of the main actors is what makes this movie very impactful. The natural and realistic acting of Irshad, Lukman Lukku, Balu Varghese, Prashanth, Binu Pappu, Vinayakan and every actors did an amazing performance. Another factor that elevates the movie is the music and Cinematography. The racy music and some really good camera work have elevated the thrilling experience a lot.

Positives: All the cases selected are very hard hitting and thought provoking. The performance of the actors were amazing. The music and cinematography is another positive of the movie.

Negatives: There is a bit of a lag in the second half. Other than that, Operation Java is a solid crime drama thriller.

Overall, Operation Java is a well crafted Crime thriller that is a must watch in theatre experience.
