The Conjuring: The devil made me do it is the third installment in the conjuring movies. The Conjuring is a 2021 American horror film directed by Michael Chaves. Screenplay is written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. Story by James Wan. The Conjuring stars Patrick Wilson, Vera Farmiga, Ruairi O'Connor, Sarah Catherine Hook and more in the lead roles.

The Conjuring: The Devil made me do it continuous with another case of the warrens. This time, they are in the position to investigate a murder that may be linked to a demonic possession.

My Review: The Conjuring is one of those horror movie franchise that is very much regarded as one of the most terrifying by horror movie lovers including myself. But if i am honest, the third movie in the conjuring series didn't impress me.

It is a very well made movie with really good atmosphere, cinematography, music and performance by every single actors in the movie. But where the movie lacks is it's scares. The Conjuring 3 focuses more on the investigation side and the relationship of the warrens this time rather than the demons. There was nothing new about the horrors and scares in this movie. It used the same techniques and jumps care techniques that we have seen many times before.

Unlike the other two films, the antagonist of the movie is not terrifying or intimidating to look at. It felt like another generic horror movie with some jump scares thrown in between an investigation movie.

The Conjuring: Devil made me do it is a well made movie with quality production and great performances. The movie does lack in the scary part compared to previous movies in the series.

Positives: Cinematography, Music, Atmosphere and performances are a big positive in the movie.

Negatives: The jump scares and horrors are mediocre in comparison. The runtime of the movie can also be reduced.

Overall, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It is a very well made movie with some great performances and production. I do recommend the movie and will impress you if you go in with little expectations to be terrified. The Conjuring 3 is available on HBO Max.
