Lucifer(malayalam movie)- My Review
Lucifer is a malayalam movie starring mohanlal and directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. It is a political thriller. Better to reign in hell than serve in heaven, wrote John Milton in Paradise Lost. The same quote is played in the end credits of actor-turned-filmmaker Prithviraj's directorial debut Lucifer. In a way, it's only fitting for a movie that evolves against the backdrop of politics and has taken a few references from contemporary socio-political scenario.
Mohan lal's stephen nedumpally gets a lot of classy mass scenes in the movie. Prithviraj has also showed his excellent talents on his direction and has portrayed mohanlal very effectively. Not only mohanlal but the supporting actors and the antagonist has showed a very good perfomance.
Eventhough the first half of the movie is not that much eventful, there was no feeling of lag or boredom throughout the film. the movie was able to keep the viewers engaged at all time.
It is a must watch for lalettan fans as well as family audience.
My Rating: 3.5/5
