Ayyappanum Koshiyum Movie Review and Rating: A commercial thrill ride that will not disappoint!
Story: The story revolves around the clash between Ayyappan, a senior police officer who serves at the Attappadi Police Station and Havildar Koshi, who comes to the village with a motive.
MY Review: Ayyappanum Koshiyum is a complete commercial entertainer. The movie revolves around two main characters and their ego. Is it necessary for a cop to think twice and consider the names in the culprit's phone contacts to take actions against someone? The movie around this conflict.
The whole movie is a thrill ride between the rivalry and conflict Prithviraj and Biju Menon and within themselves. At times, the audience will not have a clear idea on who to support as both of them are going out their principles to boost their ego. Even-though it was a complete man show between Prithviraj and Bijumenon, there are some strong female characters and some interesting police characters.
All the actors showed and excellent and realistic performance, especially Prithviraj, Biju Menon, Renjith, Gowri Nanda and more.
Possitives: Ayyappanum Koshiyum has an engaging story and it never loses its thrilling aspect and keeps the audience on the edge of their seats not knowing what either of the characters might do next. It had some very good shots. The background music and the songs really worked with the mood of the movie and the location and really elevated the forests and high-range experience.
Negetives: The camera work of fight scenes were very shaky at some points.
Overall, Ayyappanum Koshiyum is a commercial entertainer which will not disappoint the audience. It is a movie of two men and their egos. If you need an adrenaline rush and enjoy larger than life images venting out animalistic urges, go for this. It is good watch.
My Rating: 3.5/5
